Perfecting the "sense of arrival" is a roll I played since starting as a concierge bellman. Having the luxury of good mentors around me and enabled my career to keep moving in a forward direction. With encouragement from my GM " Mr Shaun Hammond" Kempinski Guiyang I had the opportunity to receive the Chief Concierge " Golden Key" award (2012) this was a milestone in my career. This award became the trigger to move ahead in Front Office. In December 2013 I ventured away from Kempinski Hotels and took on a role as Pre-opening AFOM for Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts in the Largest Luxury resort in Shaanxi Province. Our pre-opening training & preparation has been good which included a visit to Thailand, with colleagues visiting out landmark resorts in Phuket & Bangkok, A year has passed and playing a middle management role in a Pre-opening has offered a diverse overview on how operations comes together. " A New Hotel is Born" I certainly look forward to the next step as i work with my team and colleague from other departments to deliver service that will exceed our guest expectations.
