King Henry Email and Phone Number

King Henry was born on June 28 1491 at Greenwich. He was one of 4 out of 6 children who survived infancy. He became prince due to his older brother dying and succeeded in 1509. He was very athletic and intelligent as a child.King Henry was viewed as a "Renaissance Monarch" due to him being very open to learning and arts, even bringing tutors to teach his son about the renaissance. He encouraged the spread of the renaissance and fought against the church. One of king Henry's goals was to break off from the church and make his own church, another goal was to produce an heir to the throne, he did have some traditionalist beliefs such as "women are inferior" and "god made it this way"Some of his actions were that he broke off from the Catholic Church and made his own church named the "Church of England." He even made himself "Supreme Head" of the church so he could do more. He also helped spread the renaissance.
