Blue Willow day Nursery.October 2019 - Present I am currently employed at Blue Willow a very homely environment and also a outdoor Nursery. Blue Willow is very different to other Nursery's here children are more free to explore and learn through indoor and outdoor play in sunny, cloudy and rainy weathers. At Blue Willow all the age groups are mixed together which let's all the younger and older children to play together. We are eco friendly and plastic free. Snowflakes Day Nursery and Montessori October 2017 to October 2019I was employed at Snowflakes Day Nursery and Montessori, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. My roles here includes, EYFS observations for my designated key children, weekly planning of activities for the children, identify areas of improvement for the nursery and fellow staff. I am also responsible for changing nappies, toilet training, getting children acquainted with letter/words and numbers as well teaching children in pre-school about independence and responsibilities as they prepare for school.Cherry Trees Day NurseryOctober 2016 to October 2017Between Oct 2016 and Nov 2017 I was employed at Cherry Trees Day Nursery, one of the Outstanding Nursery's rated by Ofsted. During this period I was also completing my Level 2 Certificate in childcare and Health and social care. My role at Cherry Trees required me to provide a safe and healthy environment for the children, Track physical and emotional developments as a key person in charge of a group of children, nappy changes, toilet training as well as giving feedback to the parents/guardians. In my time here I worked with all ages groups ranging from 6 months to 5 years. I also lead reading sessions.Tresham Crescent Community Nursery2016 to 2016I completed a voluntary placement with Tresham Crescent Community Nursery which gave me experience in the childcare industry. My role at the nursery included supervising young children and supplying them with activities to participate within safe environment. I also lead reading sessions for the children, telling them stories in a manner which kept them engaged in the story. This placement further solidified my desire to pursue a career within childcare which I could work with young children and help aid, both their educational and personal development.
