About Hrm Drolor Adamtey I
His Royal Majesty (HRM) Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, also known as King Adamtey, is The SUAPOLOR of SE (Shai) Kingdom, King of Kordiabe- Madaam in Ghana, West Africa. King Adamtey is the first African leader to be keynote speaker at the World Public Forum (WPF) held in Rhodes, Greece in 2008 (Understanding Culture, Traditions and Religion) and in 2009 (Africa needs partners not handouts). In 2009, he participated in the African Presidential Roundtable in Berlin, Germany, addressing “Land Reform Issues in Africa as it relates to the Impact of Colonialism”. He was also guest speaker at the Global Forum, Stockholm, Sweden (2012) addressing the power and importance of technology and sustainable development in Africa. King Adamtey is the first Chancellor of The University of Professional Studies, Accra-Ghana (UPSA) (2014-2019). He founded the Drolor Centre for Strategic Leadership, a centre that brings leaders together to explore leadership from a global context. Presently, he is the Chancellor of Caribbean Maritime University (CMU), Kingston, Jamaica and the Chairman of the Laweh Open University Council, Accra-Ghana. He is the former Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for Africa. HRM, Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, holds doctorate degrees in Education, Philosophy, and Theology.
