Hey, I’m Ethan. I’m a Melbourne-based UX/UI Design graduate, working as a Marketing and Creative Specialist at Cobalt Design.I love creative outlets, but even more so, I love pushing myself to learn and improve. That is why design has stuck with me - the sky is the limit. UX and interaction design is the perfect combination of the two sides of my brain. It is extremely process-driven and grounded in research and insights. At the same time... it’s design. It’s fun, creative, and has limitless potential. After finishing my design and business double bachelor at Swinburne University, I have transitioned to full-time work at Cobalt Design, as a Marketing and Creative Specialist. This is a unique and incredibly diverse role, allowing me to take on a wide range of responsibilities across marketing, design and technical areas of the business. On any one day, you could find me:- Creating content for the website (imagery and text-based)- Designing, refining and implementing UI's in the internal database platform- Applying my skill set to the latest client project (UX/UI design, video-editing, storyboard planning, etc)- Brainstorming, and writing copy for a series of social media posts- Managing IT-based queries and liaising with our IT service provider.- Communicating with our website development agency to push the next wave of website updates through- And more!
