He has an ability to relate to people across multiple levels of an organisation and was equally able to connect with folks in Lithuania, France, India and the Philippines. He has a knack of knowing what to say at the right time to generate trust and respect. Unsurprisingly, Mike's managerial style is also very engaging and I've seen first hand how he has been able to relate to a range of different personalities in teams he has led over the years. He has a good eye for talent and has made some very strong hires, sometimes seeing beyond a nervous interview to see the ability of the person within. I've also been alongside Mike when he has had to carry out downsizing initiatives and let people go from his teams. He brings strong awareness of how people are likely to react to this in his approach and has always been able to successfully navigate challenging team situations. In the last period that I've worked with Mike, he moved into a more sales oriented, account management style role. I felt this was an equally good fit for him to the service related and managerial roles he was in previously and he was able to drive a lot of successes and reinvigorate the area he moved into and quick time. I hope very much to work with Mike again in the future. I have great respect for his abilities and his judgement and enjoy the constant energy and insight he brings to the working environment. "
