Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR) pioneered tourism destination development in the Philippines, founded in 1995 by Capt. Nikos Gitsis and Capt. In 2012, the aviation community seen the birth and success of the Low Cost Carrier (LCC) operations, Tiger Air, one of the major operator in Southeast Asia bought into Seair to expand their LCC operations which was later on acquired by Cebu Pacific and now operates under the trade name of Cebgo.SEAir International has relaunched as a separate entity with a return to servicing its Boracay and Palawan destinations and is based at Clark International Airport. SEAIR-I also has established cargo interline agreements with fellow Clark locators Qatar Airways and Emirates. Daily cargo runs between Clark and Cebu are now operated using SEAIR-I’s B737-200 and with the new addition B737-300, the only airline in the country using a dedicated freighter jet aircraft.
