I am currently a Michigan State University graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I am actively a paraprofessional for kids with emotional impairments with West Bloomfield Middle School. In this position, I plan to expand on the skills I have gained while in college, as well as gain new knowledge and experiences in the field of family studies, child development, and more.Through my time at Michigan State University and the organizations, I was a part of I have gained skills that will benefit me in the job market. While being a student in the Spartan Marching Band, I had to practice for 10+ hours a week while having a full course load. This experience has improved my time management skills as well as my ability to work as a team working toward a similar goal. In addition to the band, I have gained a sense of service through Tau Beta Sigma, an honorary band service sorority. This organization has increased my passion for serving the community and exposed me to different ways of communication and teamwork.I hope to bring the skills that I have gained to an organization through a full-time position. I am looking to apply the knowledge I have gathered through my classes and organizations for this job opportunity. I have knowledge in SPSS, psychological recovery, family studies, and child development.
