I hold over 20 years of hospitality and tourism experience, a bachelor’s in technology management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and am a licensed tourist guide in Malaysia. My fervor for sustainable tourism and it's role in preserving Malaysia's natural and cultural heritage, prompted me to look at tourism and hospitality in a more holistic way. My previous work experience includes serving as Group Head of Marketing at Tradewinds Hotels & Resorts and as Director of Sales & Marketing of Mutiara Taman Negara. I am also proud to have more than a decade of expertise as a product manager for a leading DMC (Destination Management Company) in Malaysia. Through these roles, I have gained profound insights into how sustainable tourism enriches the experiences of travelers, benefits local communities, and contributes to biodiversity conservation. This has prompted me to be a part of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) as trainer since November 2023.
