We help co-design, prototype and make assistive tech for the needs of those with disabilities. We make using both digital and traditional fabrication techniques and we co-design with the end user who really is the expert in their needs.Our project focus now is creating and streamlining a system to create Ankle and Foot Orthoses for young children. We're using 3d scanning, collaborative cad design (with clinicians & users) and 3d printing to create accurate, cost effective, highly customised, short turnaround AFOs for these children.

• Facilitate 3d printing, environmental and social good workshops where participants gain an understanding of today’s digital fabrication technologies• Help build working relationships with Cerebral Palsy Alliance and Fighting Chance Australia to develop projects to help those with a disability become re-enabled• Build a community around Makers Place, a makerspace fostering co-creation, sustainability, design thinking and knowledge/skill sharing.

Provide customised solutions to design problems.

• Updating & creating technical documentation in AutoCAD, generating 3D graphics and creating new processes regarding wayfinding documentation.

• Building project kits, operating laser cutting machines & undertaking basic administration processes.

Creating installation and technical documentation for screen mounting systems

• Prototyping & assembling lighting products• Producing quotation & production drawings for manufacturing• Producing technical marketing documentation for lighting products

• Assemble products ranging from electrical goods to architectural installations, mechanical jigs to simulated tar mannequins.• Prototype design solutions for testing & running Standards specific testing• Liaise with manufacturers & suppliers to attain materials & samples• Collaborate with the marketing manager to create persuasive documents & marketing materials ranging from email signatures & brochures to preparing photoshop layouts for the new website design & newsletter.

• Liaised with material suppliers nationally & internationally for material & product procurement.• Manufactured designs in the workshop & assembled them on site.• Created artwork in Illustrator for both marketing purposes & communication of design intent to clients.

Liaised with clients, operated the materials shop, 3D printing & laser cutting facilities & provided prototyping solutions to students with model making problems.
