Job description:i. To ensure the monthly and yearly account closing processes are in order including prepayment, accrual, provision, fixed asset and bank reconciliationii. Perform account reconciliation between interco/related company and analysis for the monthly management accountiii. Monitor fixed asset listing and propose to write off if the net book value is zero and make sure there is no tax impactiv. Monitor deposits paid to make sure all deposits are existing outlets and follow up for deposit refund if the outlets are closedv. Review and analysis monthly accruals for professional fees to ensure the monthly expenses are capturedvi. To liaise with bankers, external auditors, secretary, tax agents and other relevant authorities to ensure financial and legislation compliancevii. Prepare financial statement for audit purpose and tax computation for tax submission purposeviii. Assist in ERP system to get the inventory aging listing by brand for brand managers to make marketing strategy decisionix. Giving suggesting on process improvement for team members to enhance the effectiveness of the work flow (eg : simplified account receivable teams in collect data from 3rd party and input data into our accounting software & simplified account payable teams for input invoice information into our accounting software)x. Prepares reports for top management to make better decision including fixed assets report, inventory aging report and brand profit and loss reportxi. Engaged in accounting system migration from SQL accounting software to Microsoft Dynamics GPxii. Liaise with insurance company for group renewal (fire, burglary, money, fidelity guarantee, consequential loss, good in transit, machinery, warehouse insurance) and handle insurance claim
