I am passionate about delivering products which delight and awe customers with exceptional user experience. I am extremely fortunate to have been at the forefront of the technology advances over the last 30+ years. I started my career at British Telecom Research labs in Martlesham Heath, England, developing software for the first generation of digital switches which carried data over voice channels. After I moved to USA, I worked at NEC and Siemens research labs developing optical networks, before moving to COM21, where we developed one of the first cable modem systems which provided high speed internet access over cable video channels in US, Canada and Europe. In the last 15 years I have led Software QA teams. At Apple as Director of QA delivered the early versions of iPhone, the first generation of iPad and Apple TV, and at Intel, I worked on the LTE chip which was deployed in iPhones, at Wi-Fi alliance delivered Wi-Fi 6 (11ax). I am excited now to be part of the Roku streaming revolution Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking and travel, especially adventurous traveling. I have hiked at Machu Pichu in Peru, Milford trails in New Zealand, Torres del Paine trails in Patagonia , Tre Cime in Italian Dolomites , Zagori in Greece, climbed Mount Whitney plus climbed Half Dome multiple times. As for adventurous traveling we have been to Antarctica, Arctic, Galapagos islands and Iceland.
