I was hand selected as one of three to act as an executive innovation and development strategist for Air Force Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff. In this role, I worked on the rapid growth and development of innovation strategies, collaborating with domestic innovation and development organizations across the USAF as well as foreign partners and international militaries, including the Royal Air Force, Armée de l'Air (France), Luftwaffe (Germany), and more.• Helped establish the Executive Strategic Innovation and Incubation Team for the Chief of Staff of the USAF: Pentagon; leveraged talent for marketing of innovation in the USAF, including a podcast that fostered conversation about change with leaders and international experts.• Co-founded The Refinery: AFWERX Innovation Accelerator: first idea-to-integration Air Force program; focused on creative funding by partnering with VCs and portfolio companies to increase access to new technologies; other military organizations duplicated the effort. https://afwerx.com/divisions/spark/refinery/• Authored and led an immediate USAF's Strategic Innovation Pipeline implementation, enabling $19.4M in Small Business Innovation Research Funding to be released.• Advised Dual-use Technology Venture Capital Funds on National Defense Capability needs; which helped direct $50M funds toward Defense capability needs as a Defense Venture Fellow.• Managed a $5M Momentum Fund for USAF CSAF; grew ROI by 33% in one year while advertising, identifying, and choosing innovation projects to impact the USAF.• Developed key national defense partnerships with USAF, FAA Academy, OSU, NASA, and Oklahoma's Air Mobility Sub-Committee.• Led a remote team of 40 to identify, vet, and select COVID Response priority capabilities for the White House Joint Acquisition Taskforce; $136.7M was awarded in rapid response.

As the Chief of Innovation of the 71st Flying Training Wing, Vance Air Force Base, OK, I led the Wing Spark Innovation team, an organization focused on bringing simple solutions and useful technologies to the most challenging everyday problems that face Vance AFB, its Airmen and the Airmen across the UPT enterprise. In the last 2 years, the Vance Spark Cell has been responsible for ground breaking developments across AETC in both technological integration, such as VR simulation integration, video recorded academics, and the development of the Mobile Device Integrated Toolkit (MDIT) into Undergraduate Pilot Training. In addition to technology integration, the Spark Cell’s discoveries have led to the development of the new UPT 2.5 syllabus development, utilizing various mediums of technology developed by the Spark Cell, and implementing them as a critical part of latest UPT syllabus. Major Jordan also led the research, acquisition and development of over $20M in training resources not only streamlining the Undergraduate Pilot Training mission in the United States Air Force, but impacting the Future of Aviation Training at large.As Director, I leveraged my previous experience to innovate pilot training via technology upgrades, performance evaluation, and improved flight training.• Pioneered a $48M VR Flight Training solution for implementation across Navy, Army, and Air Force Flight training bases.• Increased mission effectiveness by 27% across 5 Divisions; recognized with a National Innovation Award in 2020 and named #1 out of 567 Field Grade Officers for 2019.• Founded a task force that delivered three teleworking solutions during COVID-19 for DoD members.• Coordinated and hosted a gathering with 7.8K attendees and 120 events, securing 110+ contracts.

I directed or participated in completing 60+ joint missions over Afghanistan and Iraq with 3.7K+ flight hours. Facilitated flight training for 97 pilots.• Commanded or piloted four emergency returns of multiple $330M aircraft after compounded critical system failures.• Chaired seven conferences and coordinated 13 organizations; replaced six outdated processes and reduced overhead by $1.3M.• Named UPT's Innovation Hub by serving as the director of learning for five training bases.
