After four years of college, I enlisted in the U.S. Army under the job code of 11B (Infantry). I served for over six years as a Squad Leader during my deployment to Afghanistan. I was in command of 8 ground force personnel as a dismount unit performing multiple tasks from personal security, presence patrol, investigations, quick reaction force (QRF). I was awarded an Army Accommodation Medal with Valor. I graduated from several leadership courses while I served and thoroughly enjoyed personnel development and development counseling the soldiers I was in command of. After serving I went to school for EMT and Firefighter 1 & 2. While serving I conducted training through JSOC University in Level II anti-terrorism/force protection. I became experienced in threat and vulnerability assessments with mitigation techniques. After being hired by Pasco County Fire Rescue and I successfully completed my Paramedic certification. I am now completing my bachelors in Cybersecurity at Saint Leo University, where I am President of Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor society for the computer sciences and member of the PenTest club.
