• Executed all responsibilities assigned to me by the supervisor. Like cleaning and setting up the 4milling machines with the correct cutting teeth. This ensured a seamless transition from one task to the next.• Represented any milling, lathe, or drilling operators at their workstations whenever they were absent from work. This reduced downtimes and ensured delivery dates were not largely affected.• Oversaw preventive maintenance on the machines I operated. Specifically, the milling machine.Milling represented 30% of all work in the machine shop.• Supported the technicians in charge of gear cutting in calculating the parameters needed for finding the suitable gear cutter whenever they were stuck. The parameters included the gear module and diametrical pitch. This reduced reworks and rejected pieces in case of any miscalculation.

• Joined hands with other attaches to develop and fabricate 50+ energy-efficient, top-lit updraft gasifier stoves. The gasifier stoves enabled cooking to continue for 1 to 2 hours over ordinary biomass stoves due to the charcoal made. We also learned how to evaluate the stoves for thermal analysis and emission determination.• Took part in assembling a suite of agro-processing equipment like avocado oil extractors, sugarcane juice extractors, and small biodigesters. Emphasis was on how to employ Computer-Aided Manufacture (CAD/CAM) to reduce product development life cycle and improve product quality.
