Plush-Think Sofas is a market leading furniture retailer consisting of over 46 showrooms nationwide in Australia. I was a key part of the marketing department in the head office whilst also building key relationships with Chinese and Australian manufacturers. Key Responsibilities Included; • Management & distribution of marketing collateral; Facilitated the online and in-showroom swatch sample service, enabling the use of fabric and leather swatches as a sales tool to 46 retail outlets. My input here facilitated a monthly order fulfilment of around 3000 units.• PR assistance with new showroom set-ups; I assisted in the co-ordination of stock and marketing collateral to over 22 refurbished showrooms and 5 new locations across Australia. Alongside this, I assisted in contacting local radio stations and newspapers to promote the new openings.• Liaising with the national buyer through stock reporting; Providing support through development of tracking and forecasting reports using programs such as Microsoft Excel and Magento. This process includes end-to-end coordination of all swatch stock requests & transfers from both Australian and Chinese suppliers to the distribution centre.• Other Responsibilities; Internal weekly bulletin using Photoshop, creating promotional/stunt briefs for showrooms, proofing business documentation, approving radio scripts, basic website updates using Wordpress and Magento, assisting in campaign photo-shoots and communicating with customers via social media platforms.
