I started working as the Green Beetz Program Manager in 2015 and grew the program's presence in NYC 5th grade classrooms from zero to 16 schools by 2017. In 2017 when I relocated to Berlin Germany I have had the joy to continue working with Green Beetz and to see the program grow in it's presensce as well as it's direction. From Berlin I continue to work on growth and development, teacher relationships (recruiting new teachers, maintaining relationship), supervising the new program manager, maintaining partnership relations with other non-profits. I've developed and teach an accredited online Professional Development course for Green Beetz, created and maintain a Teacher Resource website on wordpress, set-up G Suite for non-profits, and continue to serve as our defacto IT officer.

Framed e.V. is a non-profit cultural salon promoting music and art in Berlin, while believing in the power of culture to create real bridges between different people and cultures. I oversee all the day to day communications, outreach, calendar coordinator, intern coordination, website updates and troubleshooting, mailchimp and email campaigns, event coordination.

Green Beetz is a STEM Common-Core Aligned Curriculum for 5th and 6th graders. In 2015 GrowNYC partnered with Green Beetz to have an avenue to implement Green Beetz in to NYC classrooms. We started in 8 classed the first school year and doubled our reach the second year (2016-2017) to 16 schools. My role at that point was very hands-on with our teachers as we model a train-the-teacher style of curriculum and continue to support them throughout the program both financially, technically, and with Professional Development workshops.

My job is to coordinate, manage and teach educational programs at New York City’s 54 Greenmarket, focusing on concepts of nutrition, seasonal and local food, and sustainable agriculture to over 6,000 K-12 students each year.In the Spring I will be further implementing, developing, and managing of all aspects of the Seed to Plate curriculum, that I taught in the past as a Greenmarket Educator. Seed to Plate is a standards-aligned 5th & 6th grade program about the importance of healthful, mindful eating taught to over 500 students in NYC public school classrooms each year.I recruit, train, and supervise 10+ staff and volunteers to help with Greenmarket Youth Education goals.
