About Kira Gall Henriksen

My primary job is to find the right people for the right business. I do that every single day and with a success rate of close to 100 %.The reason is that I work in an extremely structured way and I make sure I familiarise myself with all the rules surrounding the relevant situation. That way, I’m not caught off guard. I also draw on all the natural competences I possess with regard to creating the right match between people and corporations. It takes exact, friendly, accommodating, and skilful communication.As a project leader, I work in an equally structured manner. The goals have to be perfectly clear to everyone working on the project and that takes transparent leadership. Deadlines must be clear and reachable, and my key task is to create respect for the project, the proposers and the team members. Everyone should feel that they are heard, and everyone should feel that they belong and contribute. But most importantly, as a project manager, I need to know everything about our task, so that I can support my team in the best possible way when they need guidance. My sense of structure comes from my time in the executive area of PFA, Leo Pharma and DONG Energy (now Ørsted), where precise and clear communication is imperative. My sense of duty has been strengthened through my education as a chef. If all processes in a restaurant are not followed to the letter, then the house of cards often falls. I work really well in a traditionally managed corporation but I can truly excel in a more modern leadership style where my strengths such as empathy, understanding what drives people, and making everybody feel included is allowed to be in focus.
