About Kira Madsen Lorenzen

Hi! I work to improve the experience of streaming great content in a more fun, delightful and ethical way. I have a background as a design engineer with a focus on how to incorporate user experience into both system and product design, but have worked in IT development since 2016.I have worked broadly, starting my journey with creating a design toolbox for developers focused on improving the user experience in interacting with non-humanoid robots, building smart sustainable shower, working in one of the worlds biggest IT companies improving User Experience in B2B IT systems and now I work to improve the way people stream great content on Danmarks Radio streaming service DRTV. I am especially interested in the journey from strategy to impact, and have within the last couple of years taken courses in data driven UX and product development and design psychology. I love facilitating workshops and teaching and have in my career taught IBM Design Thinking Bootcamp and guest lectures in creative design methods at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA in the courses ‘Inventors Studio’ and ‘How to Change the World’.Aside from work I enjoy to sing, do graphic design, read, cook (and eat…) and fixing up my apartment!
