CurrentI work in a team that process' payroll in a very busy environment for 2,500+ weekly paid employees. I ensure data is accurately prepared, inputted into the payroll system whilst adhering to tight deadlines ready for payroll. I have been involved in setting up processes, implementing them as well as adjusting them to ensure they are efficient and work well.I also deal with queries via a range of communication such as email, paper correspondence, Google forms, telephone/Google Voice and face to face. Query resolutions may also entail that calculation of amounts are done manually so that monies can be paid or deducted. As I overlook multiple inboxes, I have to ensure that I am knowledgeable and well informed in knowing different contracts that apply to different employees so that their queries can be resolved quickly.I also deal with a range of employee absences and paperwork that vary in depth for Sickness, Industrial Injury, Paternity leave, Maternity leave, Jury service etc. I input this on various systems that also include entering data for New Starters, Leavers and Contract Changes.I am comfortable using the payroll systems (Directional Systems/Compass T&A, SuccessFactors and ITrent) with speed and efficiency as well as Google Share Drive, Excel, Word and Adobe.Due to my extensive knowledge I help support and train my colleagues in areas that they require, with ease and confidence. I have also been awarded DPD's 'Personality of the Year' award in 2022 as I was nominated by the Head of Hub Operations and won this prestigious award.
