- Responsible for underwriting Fire, General Accident, Engineering & Marine Insurance and reviewing New and Renewal Business request in order to determine insurability based on corporate guidelines and standards. - ­Actively assisting in house risk surveyor to understand risk and prepare risk assessment sheet for Senior Underwriters/Managers to determine terms and conditions for small- & large-scale businesses. ­- Accountable for preparing revised proposal forms as per the request from the client under the guidance of Senior Underwriters/Managers and checking monthly renewal proposal forms for timely submission to the Marketing Representative /Client.­- Proficiently issuing new proposal form as per the inspection report and managers instruction in respect of all classes of Non-Motor Insurance.­- Instrumental in writing binding and non-binding emails and Quotations to Brokers and Direct Clients. ­- Effectively responding queries of the Brokers & Direct Clients regarding policy cover, cancellation refund premium, endorsement, declaration etc. ­- Skilfully generating Brokers & Direct Clients underwriting reports for rate and risk comparison. ­- Involved in communicating Risk improvement measures to Brokers & Direct Clients in cases where insurance can be granted upon completion of the desired improvement communicated. ­- Pivotal in maintaining accurate & detailed records of all Brokers & Direct Clients contacts. ­- Adeptly preparing Renewal Notices to the Brokers & Direct Clients. ­- Assisting the Senior Underwriter in preparation of Treaty Statistic for Regional Office. ­- Reviewing the preliminary inspection report of over 50 million sum-insured with the Senior Manager for inspection.
