Senior Architect in the Operational Intelligence team. Dual role - first, unraveling complex processes to improve speed and add visibility to prevent/minimize failed interactions. Made BofA better at real-time debit/credit POS approval monitoring identifying issues well before Visa/MC/TSYS. Other processes I worked on were credit card replacements, new cards, deposit posting, statement generation, and trade executions. Also implemented an innovative customer fees prediction process using regression models.Second role was standardizing production monitoring and advising and improving stability for a portfolio of 2000 backend applications spanning consumer banking, merchant banking (insourced from FirstData), integration services, decisioning, Merill Lynch (trading and retirement backends) and Countrywide (mortgage origination) during their integration into BofA; and was key participant in many horizontal services improvement initiatives like CI/CD, containers, and mainframe. Supported every technology under the sun, from IBM IMS to Oracle Exadata, tandems to tokenization, JCL to J2EE, and hundreds of vendor products.
