Here are some of my key responsibilities:Developing a tailored data governance framework, including an implementation plan, focusing on values, strategy, methods, processes, and roles. The translation from organization strategy to data strategy is key, continued by a tactical framework and operational procedures. Write policies for data management, data governance and AI governance. Collaborate with CISO/FG to align policies. Besides policies I have a heavy focus on change management, we create realistic policies together. Aid in common ground principles, WOO implications and other challenges municipalities in the Netherlands face. Assessing existing processes and identifying areas for improvement. Documenting improved processes with an enterprise architecture perspective. Implementation of business glossary & data dictionary from scratch.Collaborating with departments to raise awareness and increase engagement in data & AI governance.Training and leading internal teams on the implementation and proper use of data & AI governance practices. Accepted and clear ownership within the organization is priority. I will also guide a small team of data engineers and BI developers to implement data management in a azure data lakehouse throughout the layers (bronze/silver/gold).Stakeholder management: I collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, such as managers, team leaders, and IT specialists, to promote alignment and cooperation. Started as a freelancer and has grown into a company with 5 freelancers and 2 employees. These tutors teach Dutch to expats, privately or in-house for various organisations. Here I am mainly working on curriculum development and attracting new customers. All processes are set up in accordance with the Agile manifesto, tutors work in small Agile teams on a new method of learning Dutch. They work with sprints of a month in which tutors indicate what they have learned and what they have made. I myself keep the overview with a waterfall planning to achieve the long-term goals, which is why there is hybrid project management. Set up and managed all ICT facilities, from cloud environments for students to the necessary software for tutors.We are continuously working on process optimisation because we collect data from our clients on how we can improve our lessons and this data serves as input for the development of our own Dutch Online teaching method. This teaching method will eventually be woven into an application.

To realise this I had to oversee three teams of lawyers in the field of regulatory compliance (AFM & DNB), corporate structuring and tax issues. Relationship management and stakeholder management were essential to gain (and maintain) the trust of investors.I am learning a lot about the many standards within the investment world in the field of compliance and reporting, for example SFDR disclosures, EIDs, ESG reporting, KYC/AML policies & processes, WWFT & WFT. As a freelance Data Governance Consultant, I spearheaded the end-to-end development and implementation of data management processes for a municipal organization. I was active in the data management group at Insights & Data NL. I got assigned to a major steel manufacturer undergoing digital transformation towards a data driven organization. The modernization of the IT infrastructure had major consequences for business users as their source data for BI reports was moving to the cloud.I worked in a multidisciplinary team responsible to keep the information flow consistent for business users while data was being migrated from IBM mainframe servers to Azure data lakes and Oracle servers. Data analysis and data quality was key in ensuring business users had the right information, Tibco data virtualization and Tibco spotfire were used for this.Next to data analysis, business analysis was part of my duties. It was important to quickly learn several production, business and logistic processes to understand the information need of business users. Sometimes new BI dashboards had to created for these business users, I worked closely with Tibco Spotfire developers from TCS India and Quintis while in the 'business analyst' role to create these. These new dashboards sometimes covered multiple processes from multiple departments so a helicopter view was needed as well as in depth knowledge of the processes.Besides business/data analyst tasks I took the task of scrum master. I've helped the project team towards working with in an Azure DevOps environment and working the Agile scrum way. I've set up the Azure DevOps environment, organised and guided all sprints, retros, and the dailies.

During this internship a new service within Capgemini will be designed, in advising clients how to implement AI systems and how to design the governance processes surrounding these systems. Additionally, the proposed service will prepare clients for the coming regulations from the European Commission. Service design principles will be used to design a service based on what clients actually need. Due to the client centric approach of this methodology, I will be working together with Capgemini clients to create a general service, which has the flexibility to be tailored to specific sector/client needs. The service should be ready from 01-02-2021, which marks the end of this graduation internship.

Building on the ethical framework for AI I've created during my internship at Capgemini, I've been given the opportunity to contribute in setting up a new (business) risk baseline for future AI projects. I will be working with experienced IT-risk managers and I've been given a role in the proposal process for new (AI) projects by joining these meetings, analyzing them and providing insights.

During this internship I've created a practical framework to include ethics in AI for developers. This framework is created with experts from within Capgemini and outside of Capgemini. Some of the external experts include European Commission members, professors and future trend researchers. The framework is currently being used within Capgemini worldwide to asses ethical risks tied to AI projects. Capgemini additionally provided me with opportunity to give a few 'talks' about the subject, inside Capgemini and for other organizations. This varied from larger audiences outside the organization to more intimate expert circles within Capgemini.The focus from the school perspective was on change management methodologies and how to apply them, for example stakeholder analysis, measuring resistence, etc. These methodologies were used correctly and now the framework is part of the standard process within Capgemini.
