With 7 years experience working in schools, my passion lies is helping others better themselves by honing in on their strengths, finding solutions to possible barriers and encouraging individuals to be the most successful version of themselves. The school setting has allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge in ways to support both children and adults by making strong connections with community resources as well as gaining trust and rapport from stakeholders. I consider myself a hard worker and am very task oriented and data driven. I deal well under pressure and have strong skills in facilitation, communication, collaboration and leadership. My professional journey as taken me from leadership roles in retail to developing, facilitating and implementing school counseling programs that promote social emotional learning, diversity and inclusion to over 900 elementary school students. I enjoy collaborating and consulting with other professionals to gain better understanding of community needs. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and continued my education at West Chester University where I graduated with a Masters of Education in CACREP accredited School Counseling program. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, participating in outdoor activities, traveling, trying new restaurants and supporting local businesses. Family and community are important to me as I continue to work and learn to continue my personal growth.
