With over 23 years of experience in the IT sector, I am a passionate leader and advocate for the free software movement in India. As the General Secretary of the Free Software Movement of India (FSMI), I work with various stakeholders, including activists, academics, students, professionals, and government agencies, to promote the adoption, development, and dissemination of free and open source software (FOSS) in the country. I also serve as the President of the Forum of IT Professionals (ForIT), a platform for IT workers to voice their concerns and demands, and the Chairman of Swecha, a non-profit organization that develops FOSS solutions for social and economic empowerment. I have expertise in and have contributed to multiple FOSS projects and initiatives. I hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Andhra University. My mission is to create a more inclusive, democratic, and sustainable IT ecosystem in India, where everyone can access, use, and share knowledge and technology freely.
