• Supporting Morgan Stanley client as Purchasing buyer for direct procurement of IT & Non-IT products.• Handling entire procure to pay activities such as requisition creation, price negotiation, PO creation and ensuring timely delivery of products along with expediting of orders if required.• Additional tasks include vendor enablement and catalog management on ad-hoc situations.• Handling client issues or any product discrepancies in case of wrong product shipment/delayed shipment.• Maintaining SLA Metrics and updating the same on dashboards on daily basis.• Ensuring to reduce all the AP related issues by timely receiving the PO’s in ariba system.• Handling all the escalation emails and working to provide the right solutions to resolve the issues.

• Supporting GE Aviation client, as Buyer, for direct sourcing of aviation parts for commercial aircraft engines, right from the procurement activity till the Invoice is generated (Procure to Pay).• As soon as the requisitions for the required parts are released, contact the suppliers located all over the globe and send them Request for Quotations (RFQs) via e-mail. Find which supplier has given us the lowest price. • Negotiate with the supplier to a certain extent for sourcing the part, for lesser price to achieve the yearly Deflation target.• To ensure that all the requisitions have been converted to purchase orders by placing with correct suppliers within TAT time.• Identify process improvement ideas and deliver business impact through productivity and time savings.• Preparing Monthly dashboards of process volume and metrics that would be presented to the Customer.
