I have a vast amount of experience in giving practical advice and help to businesses from start-up, through growth, restructuring, and diversification to planning exit routes, whilst also ensuring that the officers and individuals involved, they meet their obligations in increasingly difficult industry specific compliant areas of their businesses. My clients operate in a variety of business sectors, including travel, restaurants, media, manufacturing and distribution, retail and services to name but a few. I act for a number of UK and overseas companies and also advise UK entities in their dealings with overseas transactions, to ensure that a practical commercial approach is taking. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a national firm in Birmingham, before leaving them to join Weston Kay in 1993. I was admitted to Partnership in April 1994 and over the years I have enjoyed being actively involved with an increasing number of varied clients that I have acquired. I find that the experience gained both in my previous firms have been invaluable in advising clients of all sizes and at all stages of their development. On 1 May 2013, Weston Kay merged with Martin Greene Ravden LLP to form the enlarged practice MGR Weston Kay LLP.In Jan 2015, I decided to go it alone and set up Albury Associates Limited. This has given me the ability and freedom to be a more client facing, like I used to and my clients are certainly enjoying my presence. Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family and I am actively involved in a number of charities both in the UK and internationally. I enjoy running and cycling to stay fit. This has led me to raise over £100,000 for good causes in the past 10 years.
