• In passenger services you assist travelers with check-in. Check your travel documents, provide flight information and skillfully manage the check-in process so that passengers and luggage are in the right place at the right time. At the departure gate manage the process of boarding, close the flight and coordinate with the airline crew to ensure a punctual departure.• Manage bookings for all customer airlines to include: Changes of tickets, rebooking, paying for excess baggage, registering or reporting electronic ticket sales, disruption management (i.e. rebooking of flights canceled and wrong connections)• Completion of banking and sales relationships• Assist passengers with self-service check-in kiosks• Inspect and verify passenger documentation including passports and visas. Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by disruptions or flight cancellations• Manage passenger baggage processing, including handling and calculating fares, if applicable applicable• Assist passengers as needed during arrival / check-in procedures, including support for passengers with special requirements such as unaccompanied minors (UM), VIP passengers and passengers requiring wheelchair assistance• Direct passengers through customs, immigration and quarantine as required• Make public address announcements as required• Assist colleagues in other areas of the airport to ensure that wheelchairs, pushchairs and baggage registered at the gate (cleared by customs at security checks) is made available for loading upon departure and handed over to passengers upon arrival• Comply with all UK/Ireland/EU regulations, as well as UK safety requirements airport and carrier authorities• Comply with Swissport's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).• Manage computers and specialist equipment such as airlifts, scanners and specialized software for airlines• Produce work related documentation when required• Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times

• Attend pre-flight briefings on the flight, the passengers and the programme• Greet passengers as they board and disembark the aircraft• Show passengers to their seats and pay special attention to certain passengers,as elderly or disabled• Serve meals and refreshments• Check the status and supply of emergency equipment and passenger information• Demonstrate emergency equipment and safety procedures• Administer first aid• Dealing with emergencies• Provide passengers with newspapers, magazines and in-flight entertainment by selling commercial goods duty-free and pursuit of sales objectives• Production of written flight reports after completing a trip.
