His domain expertise spans systems engineering, software development, AI/ML-based data product engineering, product management, and the successful commercialization of innovative technologies.Kiran’s career is marked by a unique blend of technical depth and leadership, from hands-on system design to developing advanced data science products and leading diverse, international teams. He has built high-performing teams from the ground up at three different organizations, and driven the creation of intellectual property that delivers measurable business value.With extensive domain knowledge, Kiran bridges the gap between technical innovation and strategic execution. His leadership has been pivotal in forming joint ventures, conducting due diligence, and delivering large-scale projects/products that align with business objectives.Key Technology Achievements in the Clean Energy domain:• Recently, I led the establishment of a data science team from the ground up, focusing on developing scalable AI/ML solutions. Under my leadership, the team designed and deployed AI/ML-based algorithms across more than 2+ GWh of BESS, delivering significant business value and enhancing customer revenue.• Led the development of hardware and software for battery energy storage systems, including safety-certified BMS, SOX algorithms, energy optimization, and EMS controls. These systems have been deployed globally in projects exceeding 2+GWh of capacity.• Engineered a direct-drive (gearless) wind turbine control platform and analytics, deployed worldwide with over 1.5+ million operational hours, contributing to the generation of more than 60 GW of clean energy.
