So, here’s the thing – I’ve had a few different jobs since graduating….It all started when I was working as a Field Merchandiser. I had just finished putting up a display of glue and as I stood back to admire my handiwork, I thought to myself, “Is this really what I want to be doing for the rest of my life? Is this my calling?”As it turns out, the answer was no. So, I decided to push forward and work towards climbing the corporate ladder. But something still didn’t quite feel right. I wanted to do something more meaningful, something that would make a real impact, something that I really connected with.Then something happened. I stumbled into the world of recruitment, and suddenly everything just clicked. It was like a light bulb went off in my head, and I realised that whilst I may not have been the best at finding myself that perfect job, I was pretty darn good at finding other people their perfect job. Finally, I had found that spark within me!It was like I had a sixth sense for matching people with their dream jobs. I could just tell by talking to someone for a few minutes what kind of company culture they’d thrive in, what kind of work they’d be passionate about, and what kind of boss they would work well with. That’s a pretty good feeling if you ask me. So, with this new found superpower, I decided to start my own recruitment agency, Recruit BI. Now, here I am, helping people find their dreams jobs and feeling like a true hero. Who knew that my journey from driving around in a van, putting up glue displays, would lead to recruitment? But hey, that’s life for you. As they say, it's all about the journey!
