I am a board-certified psychiatrist in the Los Angeles area with extensive experience in the treatment of psychiatric conditions using medication and non-medication approaches. I direct West Coast Life Center, a psychopharmacology and therapy-based practice, as well as the West Coast TMS Institute. A member of UCLA clinical faculty, teaching at the UCLA Anxiety Disorders Clinic, and trained in the practice of all three disciplines of (a) general adult psychiatry for both men and women, (b) perinatal/reproductive psychiatry, and (c) Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(TMS), I offer a diverse and comprehensive approach to emotional wellness. I started the West Coast TMS Institute to help people who suffer from medication-resistant depression or intolerable drug-related side effects. Certified in the clinical application of TMS Therapy, I have also completed intensive coursework on TMS at Harvard Medical School’s Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation, and a Visiting TMS Fellowship at Duke University. Named one of eighty best doctors in the San Fernando Valley by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal in December 2010, I have been elected by my peers for inclusion in the Best Doctors in America® database from 2003 to 2013.
