I am continuing my work at KUKA from my time as an intern by leading out in designing a cloud platform for simulating and programming robots.- Worked as the lead designer in KUKA Compose, working closely with the product manager and front-end developers to launch it- Supported the design work in KUKA Connect, designing new features and workflows to enhance it- Worked in Illustrator, Invision, and Axure to design software prototypes for both internal and external use- Simplified complex robotics workflows and information so that the resulting product would be accessible for novice users yet remain powerful for experts

Working in UX gave me the experience needed to see a product being built from concept to alpha prototype. It was amazing to me that we were able to present the full prototype for the simulation application with all the features stitched together and the interfaces blocked out in the course of about 2 months.- Worked on KUKA Connect and its style guide, an innovative cloud software that integrates different layers of communication between business, robot, and worker and provides users the opportunity to optimize the work environment- Leveraged previous engineering experience to design a new cloud simulation software from the ground up- Worked in Illustrator, Invision, and LucidChart to design software prototypes and visualize its information architecture

Inspiring young women to be engineers and designers was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had so far. Having just graduated from MIT, I wanted to give back to the program that I had participated in four years prior, so I was hired as a residential tutor and a co-instructor for the design curriculum. I worked in the Mechanical Engineering track for WTP.In general, my tasks included:- Inspiring the students to want to pursue careers in STEM and design fields- Educating them in design principles and engineering skills- Mentoring them in their career journey- Giving them a taste of the college lifeI'm proud to say that all of my students were accepted to wonderful colleges in 2017 and I know their careers and futures will be bright.

As my first professional experience, my time at Dell was mostly working in-between the engineering and the design world. My main task was to research and design textures that could satisfy both the engineers and designers on the team in terms of performance and aesthetics, respectively.In order to address this challenge, I did the following: - Researched information on texturing for Dell Inspiron and future Dell products- Used the Adobe Design Suite to design new patterns for texturing- Tested both current textures and my designed textures for scratch and mar resistance- Designed and tested my own textures based on my findings- Presented the research project to executives within the Industrial Design and Engineering team, outlining ways to improve laptop textures by material and roughness
