Djookian CO-Founder Kirby Bentley has over fifteen years experience in the construction and mining industries. Kirby is a licensed rigger, dogman and shot firer. Kirby is a proud Noongar Yamitji woman who has held a variety of leadership roles across a diverse range of industries culminating in her role at AFL House developing their Reconciliation Action Plan. Kirby also has an impressive sporting background in the AFLW playing for Carlton and Fremantle.Kirby is heavily involved in a variety of social cases and is an ambassador for Djirra a not for profit organisation that specialises in providing safe and holistic assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have experienced family violence. Kirby also competed as a contestant in the 9th season of Network TEN's Survivor where she was known for her strong social skills and strategic game play.
