The Business Analyst role at eTechnology Services combines the functions of a classic BA liaison between department stakeholders and eTechnology's development teams, and a product owner for maintenance and updates within several of our systems. We work with a combination of third-party and proprietary systems that cover Insurance functions ranging from Loss Prevention and Safety training, to Rating (Duck Creek), Claims, Policy Processing and Underwriting. This role helps to ensure the accurate communication of data to our strategic partners within tight deadlines, all the while delivering friendly and rapid support to our internal and external users.

I run a full-service fretted instrument repair business. A graduate of the DJ Parsons Guitar Repair School, and a member of the Guild of American Luthiers and the Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans, I make research the foundation of my repairs. Guitar Repair is one of the few crafts where centuries-old tradition and up-to-the-minute internet resources are both of value in solving problems. Years of playing in bands, working for Apple in repairing and supporting electronics products, and experience with fine woodworking all inform the decisions made in caring for each instrument.

Under the Supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and with a reporting relationship to the CIO, responsibilities include the creation and direction of the Department of Educational Support Services for all campuses and programs of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.The Department of Educational Support services oversees all modalities of distance and web-enhanced education for the Seminary. Additionally, we serve as the primary resource for faculty training and professional development in pedagogy and educational technology. The Department of Instructional Design & Technology rests within this structure to continue Course Building and Maintenance Responsibilities. Overseeing Personnel, Budget, and Institutional alignment for this department.

Reporting to CIO and Provost, responsibilities included the creation and direction of the Department of Instructional Design for all campuses of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. This department coordinates ID&T resources for the Institution, and serves as the Primary resource for faculty training and orientation in the areas of Instructional Technology and Pedagogy. Additional responsibilities included quality control management on behalf of the Provost for all programs using ID services, planning and budgeting, establishing vision and operational protocols for the Instructional Design department, Coordination with Library, IT and Media Services for the maintenance and support of learning and distance communication technologies, and direct supervisions of staff and staff development.

Course Development: Based on the needs of a newly created Distance Learning program, assumed responsibilities for building Hybrid & Online courseware with senior faculty and members of the administration.
