Perform, assist, and assign analytical duties for spacecraft, aircraft, and industrial components. Components include solenoid valves, relief valves, metering valves (e.g. pintle/venturi), single-stage/two-stage servo-valves, flow dividers, purge valves, and hydraulic and electromechanical actuators. In charge of thermal, stress, combined thermal/stress, CFD, random vibration, shock, electromagnetic, and dynamic analysis. Use of spreadsheets, hand calculations, MATLAB, Finite Element, Finite Difference, and Finite Volume tools.I also manage a small team whose chief responsibilities are evaluating dynamic, flow, thermal, and static components. Recent work includes complex assembly drawing (10+) review (use of ASME Y14.5 geometric tolerancing and tolerance stack analysis), new design concepts for proposals, and fatigue analysis.

Working chiefly as project and design engineer on hydraulic and pneumatic actuators for aerospace and entertainment purposes. Also CFD and thermal analyst for bi-propellant valves in space applications, check valves for Naval applications, flow dividers for aerospace, and purge valves in the industrial arena.

Lead for SBIR-based government contracts on investigation of storage of positron (anti-electron) for use in propulsion and other technologies.
