With a passion for technology and mining, I am a Mine Controller and Relief Asset Health Coordinator at Rio Tinto, one of the world's leading mining companies. I have over 6 years of experience in the mining industry, working with various operational and technical aspects of mining projects.I am currently a member of the She Codes Plus 24/25 cohort, a 6-month intensive coding program aimed at empowering women to enter the tech industry. This initiative aligns with my passion for increasing diversity in tech, as I believe that a more inclusive industry leads to better innovation and problem-solving. With a background in mining and a keen interest in tech, I am excited to merge these fields and contribute to forward-thinking solutions. I am continuously learning and applying my skills in real-world projects, aiming to make a meaningful impact in both sectors.I leverage my skills in process improvement, problem solving, system knowledge and analytical thinking to enhance the performance and efficiency of mining assets and operations. I have contributed to identifying and resolving operational issues, optimising asset health and availability, and implementing best practices and standards. I am also keen on learning new technologies and applying them to the mining sector. I believe that technology can create more value and opportunities for the industry.
