Led a workforce of 64 personnel developing communication concept capabilities for future US Army systems. Defined and documented material solutions and organizational structure for the communication organizations of the US Army.• Integrated efforts between the senior leaders in the Pentagon and any Army system containing communication equipment. Inserted the aerial communications systems into the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army’s portfolio review process gaining Army-level support for our number one priority.

Led a team of 236 personnel to provide a full range of strategic and deployable communications systems to support the U.S. SOUTHERN Command’s 1,200 and the U.S. Army South’s 400 personnel.• Managed a budget of $12M and equipment worth $84M.• Deployed teams throughout South America providing communications support to humanitarian relief efforts. Worked extensively with interagency and non-governmental organizations. Commander, Network Command commented “Exceeded the standard of world-class C4IT support.”

Led a team of 1,100 personnel. Provided world-wide voice, video, and data communications supporting the DoD’s senior leadership and special operations units in high tempo environments. Enhanced effectiveness and efficiency through technological innovation.• Managed an annual $55M operating budget, maintained facilities valued at $33M and accounted for equipment valued at $465M. Saved $5M optimizing maintenance and sustainment systems.• Built scalable teams to implement mission planning, equipment readiness, operational metrics,network design and rapid innovation for a global IT network improving executive decision support. • Delivered multiple IT modernization initiatives including a $45M effort allowing rapid technology insertions into a global IT infrastructure benefiting the DoD. Received accolades from Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff. Won U.S. Transportation Command’s Innovation Award.

Led a team of 74 specially selected military and Department of Defense civilian personnel located at the Presidential Retreat, Camp David, the President’s home in Crawford Texas and the Vice President’s home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Provided voice, video, and data communications supporting the President, Vice President, White House senior staff personnel and world Heads of State. Implemented training management systems, quality control processes and emergency management procedures to improve communications support to the President and ensure absolute performance regardless of environment. Personal advisor to the President on communications matters while at Camp David and Crawford. Traveled on 70 trips totaling 362 days as the President’s Communication Officer. Closely coordinated with the most senior leadership of the government, other governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, commercial information technology companies and foreign government teams. Closely managed a $53 million state-of-the-art communications infrastructure, 30 simultaneous upgrade projects and a $7 million annual budget.
