I have been a student of technology for as long as I can remember and have immersed myself in it for decades. After working in a media lab at Emory while I was getting my Business degree, I started my career in the wireless industry with GTE Wireless. I worked my way through a number of disciplines to broaden my experience base: legal administrator, sales support, marketing manager, financial analyst and database administrator just to name a few. The internet came calling back in the late 90s and I explored a number of start up ventures.I began Winter Media in the late 90s as a consultancy for new internet ventures and software development. In 1999, I founded Solar Velocity with a business partner and built it up for the next 10+ years. Solar Velocity was a full service interactive marketing firm servicing such clients as DS Waters, AT&T and Old Castle. We sold Solar Velocity in 2011 and I moved on to other ventures.I reinvigorated Winter Media after the sale focusing on software development, systems security and mobile applications. I work with a seasoned team delivering secure software solutions to companies ranging from associations to manufacturers.I joined TechCXO at the end of 2015 adding their world class capabilities to my client offerings. TechCXO is a team of incredibly talented C-level professionals providing fractional CFO, CTO, CMO and CSO services to organizations all over the country.I also lend my talents to a few start up companies which I have invested in. I am on the Board of Advisors of an exciting company out of Los Angles named LawTake which delivers legal advice to end users through high quality mobile enabled video instruction. I am also a founding member and head of technology for CrowdCams which provides real time streaming video for live events. I am very excited to be involved in some very dynamic early stage companies that have tremendous potential.
