I have used adapted assessments and learning scaffolds based on continued data analysis cycles, feedback from administrative observations and personal reflection. I have also developed and maintained equitable classroom routines and expectations with 8th grade team. I have also built, shared and implemented team-building and SEL methods to build and maintain a supportive classroom environment. Managed multiple projects including the design and implementation of an 8th grade capstone project, 8th grade team building initiatives, and 8th grade orientation in person and remote. I value being a part of a collaborative and communicative team. I have collaborated with school and district officials to implement effective teaching strategies for all learners and teamed with ELA and Visual Arts teachers to design cross-curricular projects. One of the reasons I have been successful in my role is because of the culture of collaboration, support and communication that my middle school team has maintained.
