As an Executive Committee Member of the Macedonian Medical Association (MMA), I am currently playing a key role in shaping the direction and strategy of the organization. My responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight, conducting research and advising on key business matters, and overseeing the daily operations of the MMA. I am working closely with other esteemed professionals in the field to drive positive change in the healthcare sector and advance the interests of the MMA and its members.

The Primary Health Reform Steering Committee is established by Ministry of Health of North Macedonia and will guide primary care reforms in North Macedonia. It will also set the vision and provide independent advice on the development of the Primary Health, as the government aims to create a more ‘person-centred, integrated, efficient and equitable’ health system.

Health systems for Early Child Development- the initiative of UNICEF, WHO and the International Step by Step Association.The aim of the initiative is to strengthen support for early childhood development in routine health care services for children, with a more specific focus on facility-based services, home visiting, developmental monitoring and children with complex needs. Technical Advisory Group of international experts will be providing technical guidance and support for the initiative development in the future.

Polyclinic SeMed is primary care organization which currently commissions primary health services for the people in its catchment area;

The design and conduct of a hypertension initiative in the context of the primary health caretransformation is meant to serve as a proof of concept in one demonstration site for a renewedmodel of primary health care. The initiative will be monitored and evaluated, and the results andlessons learnt from it will be shared with MoH and key stakeholders to be considered whenrolling out the primary health care reform nationally. Through this Initiative, WHO seeks to support the MoH efforts to design and conduct of a hypertension initiative in the context of the primary health care transformation in one demonstration site, to document the implementation process and lessons learnt and to share key findings and lessons learnt to be considered for the overall PHC reform.

On 26 February 2020, the Ministry of Health (MoH) in North Macedonia organized the Second NationalHealth Forum convening key stakeholders of the primary health care sector. The Action plan forimplementing the renewed Model of Primary Health Care (PHC) was adopted.The COVID-19 pandemic further highlighted the need to accelerate the implementation of the PHCreform, with public health and social integration and person-centred lens and adapting the health workforce knowledge and competencies. Therefore, the forthcoming WHO support plans are to assist the country and the demonstration site in advancing the actions feasible to prepare the ground for implementing an integrated people-centred PHC model.National expert for preparing the demonstration site according to the Action plan for the roll out of the PHC reform in one municipality and coordinate activities at local level with the national team.

Supporting improvements in continuity of care for hypertension and diabetes in North Macedonia

National Consultant - Climate Investments for Health, conduct sectorial analysis and develop the draft and final climate change project ideas for health sector in the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as participate in consultation process to validate the documents developed.Tasks and responsibilities:Conduct sector specific documentary review and analysis of policy and strategic framework relevant for the development of climate change project ideas in the health sector.Define initial climate change project idea notes based on identified country priorities in the sector compiled during conducted documentary review.Perform and participate in consultation process with relevant stakeholders to validate initial and final draft projects ideas in the health sector.Based on comments and feedback from the consultations develop a final draft of climate change project ideas for health sector (at least 2 project ideas).Develop the Report providing recommendations for the development of additional Project Ideas in the sector.

National consultant for assessment of performance and results of the health services delivered within the frame of the integrated home-based (mobile) health and social protection services, piloted in two municipalities Kochani and Resen, through the Community Works Programme (CWP).

Implementing ICF in North MacedoniaLead by Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour and supported by UNICEF North Macedonia former "Disability Commissions" are currently under reform. Functional assessment based on ICF should replace the former "categorization" of children with disabilities.
