Scanning and depositing incoming checks; researching checks with unapplied / overapplied funds to make sure that they get applied correctly; refunding overpayments as necessary; working with customers to keep their accounts up to date

I digitize checks using an Opex scanner, then process the checks and reconcile their payments using Wausau's ImageRPS software, Oracle and OMS. I regularly use Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word to get, organize and process invoices for our customers. I have been cross-trained to work in our unapplied funds group, our invoicing department, and our payroll department. I manage our physical files, including the check copies, which I am charge of shredding once a month. I am in charge of depositing all of our check deposits to the bank. I am also the person who trains all new hires on all the functions our department performs.

I managed the company's financial accounting in Quicken. I paid all of the company's bills and managed it's payroll. I handled all incoming phone calls. I was the owner's personal assistant, which included driving company errands in my own car and the work car. I assisted the shipping department in processing all the outgoing mail.
