Since the early age of 12, the status quo was never appealing to me. While most of my friends and classmates at that time were playing video games in the evenings and weekends, I was building a lawn and landscaping company called Kirk's Lawn Care. I couldn't drive. I was limited to the lawns in my neighborhood but even at that age, I already developed a marketing plan, website and was using a CRM to manage customers.At that same time, I was what many would call an extreme holiday lighting decorator. I installed thousands of lights at my home, spent countless hours programing on a computer to make the lights dance to music. The light show ran every night and people near and far made my holiday light show part of their family tradition.My skill sets of technology, marketing, landscaping and lighting would evolve into the two highly-rated organizations I own and manage today. Both my companies are disrupters in their respective industries with unique attributes that differentiate us from our competitors.Kirk's Lawn Care brings a tech-savvy approach to landcare services. This is evident through our clean and modern website, painless quoting process and our advanced customer care and communication practices. Internal tasks are simplified with the use of the latest apps and software technologies to run an efficient business and boost our profitability.The way I broke the green industry cookie-cutter hasn't gone unnoticed. I have been featured in many landscaping trade publications such as Green Industry Pros, Landscape Management and Turf Magazine. In 2014 at the age of 23, I received the prestigious honor of being named a top 12 finalist in Total Landscape Care's national Landscaper of the Year contest.Dynamic Celebration Lighting is a premier light installation company for the wedding, event and holiday lighting fields. With my technological background, I can accommodate simple projects such as hanging string lights to complex projects such as large-scale or fully-produced holiday shows for large venues. Our focus is a higher caliber of quality and attention to detail that many other installers overlook.Moving forward, I will continue to push new boundaries, challenge the status quo and set new heights for the landscape and lighting industry.
