My extensive experience with managing both employees and students from extremely diverse backgrounds, as well as overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, fundraising, mediating between opposing interests, and overseeing large events- makes it easy to plug into both instruction and administrative roles to meet the ever-changing needs of the academic setting.Past Success Include: • Lead Professor for 7 years with a diverse student population almost entirely minority, first-generation, primarily low income, and with many of non-traditional age; oversaw the disciplinary process, student government, student groups, and campus events• Designed and developed a nationally recognized law program; grew 10x in 5 semesters.• Organized and trained college’s student government, and worked with many think tanks and organizations to provide topical lectures, events, and retreats for students. I also have written numerous articles on law and policy. • Worked in the Department of Student Affairs with an annual budget of $30 million, 1500 employees and 13 different cost centers gave innumerable training and workshops to student organizations on policy, funding, event management, etc.• Served as the University Speakers and Events Coordinator at CU. • Founding board member of FreedomTrust, an educational public charity granting fellowships to graduate students. • Corporate attorney for 13 years, working with high-level executives and politicians and nearly all segments of our society on a daily basis; advise the boards and executives of numerous corporate clients.
