Started as a bag boy at a grocery store, worked hard each and every day until I finally earned a role as night manager. I then continued to work hard and learn as much as I could until I earned an asst. manager role with the company. I then furthered my career by broading my horizon and working with a couple different companies so that I could learn big box, small box, and the distribution part of retail. I have for the last five years worked for an amazing company and family with Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. I was hired in as a marketing manager then moved to an Operations Manager until I was promoted 18 months later to a General Manager of my on location in Jonesboro Arkansas.Now I currently have 20 years of management experience. I have a very strong focus on people and their development. I also focus on shrink with a high sales goal in mind. Always looking to improve the moral within the company because it will ultimately lead to lower expenses due to turnover.
