My journey in the Health Plan Benefits Administration arena began 30 years ago working at my grandfather's company in Los Angeles. The knowledge that I've gained was primarily focused in TPA for fully self-funded groups, health plan development, systems implementation and client, vendor and customer relations. Knowledge includes Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulatory and strategic initiatives. Experience also includes sales management and account management. Results oriented maintaining a team focused approach to deliver quality products and services. A positive attitude and blend of presentation, communication and customer centric expertise. Technical skills: MS Office/Projects, SharePoint Collaborative software, Verisk Health-Sightlines Medical Intelligence application, McKesson Care Management application, WEX Health card flexible spending platform. Planview Clarizen enterprise work management solution, and Salesforce. Of course this doesn't even include platforms that are now obsolete. Yes, I've been doing this for a long time.
