Throughout my career, I have consistently jumpstarted growth through innovative marketing and business strategies across a broad range of categories and channels in pharmaceuticals, dental, digital health, and consumer products. Following my tour of duty as an airborne engineer officer in the US Army, I progressed through a series of sales and marketing leadership roles at Frito-Lay, where I crafted marketing strategies that accelerated sales and market share growth for the $1B Lay’s brand, led a field sales organization to a Top 3% national ranking and turned around profit performance of a $300M key account portfolio. As Director, Consumer Marketing for the launch of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s blockbuster, Abilify, I developed branding and digital marketing initiatives that earned a Telly Award and were recognized with a BMS President’s Award. I was then recruited to be the Vice President/General Manager of the $100M Oral-B Professional Products Group at Gillette where I led a business transformation that grew sales and profits, built professional endorsement and recaptured market share leadership for the first time in 7 years. Following P&G’s acquisition of Gillette, I joined the Oral Care global marketing team and led the development of the Crest Oral-B “Whole Mouth Health” strategy. Wanting more impact on results, I became the Vice President of Marketing at ViaCell, a small biotech company focused on women’s health where I led the repositioning of the ViaCord brand, improved awareness and drove a 20% increase in revenues. I then joined Digitas Health as a Senior Vice President of Marketing where I led the start-up of a new digital health marketing practice. As a Vice President at Alkermes, a mid-sized biopharmaceutical company, I held a series of commercial and market access leadership roles where I was responsible for leading the scale-up of marketing capability, designing and building a commercial shared services organization, transforming the patient services group and leading omnichannel marketing strategy development which contributed to the company’s rapid growth from $187M in 2011 to $1.17B in 2021. I am currently a Principal and Advisor at the New England Consulting Group, serving as a subject matter expert on the Healthcare and CPG practice teams.
