About Kirk Vickers
I have owned and operated a performance training gym for the past 25 years. I have been blessed to have helped a wide range of athletes and individuals achieve greater levels of performance, through a deeper understanding of movement, body mechanics, exercise, and function. This knowledge has allowed for the design and application of simple but effective strategies to create positive change in people's lives, whether it is return from injury, increased power and speed, or simply improved everyday life. My understanding of the body and how it functions comes out of my formal education and the many the years of experience working in pro sports, clinical settings, and being a business/gym owner/entrepreneur for more than 25 years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology, I am the former Head Trainer of the Detroit Red Wings (NHL), Head Trainer for the Detroit Drive (Arena Football), Assistant Trainer for the Pittsburgh Gladiators. I have worked in several PT/Sports Medicine clinics,, I have been an assistant coach at the collegiate level. I have also been voted twice as one of the top 100 trainers in the US by Men's Health Magazine.
