Peru, IL: $7.7MM project, multiple buildings for a river port terminal grain facility. Led eight project participants, oversaw twenty-two vendors and five sub-contractors. Came in three weeks ahead of schedule and within budget.• Grain Storage Facility, Flint Hills Resources, Menlo, IA: $8.3MM ethanol plant project. Led five project participants, oversaw fifteen vendors and four sub-contractors. Came in four weeks ahead of schedule and within budget• Corn Flake Mill and Storage Facility, Gavilon Burley, ID: $2.3MM project. Led six project participants, oversaw twelve vendors, three sub-contractors. Came in one week ahead of schedule and within budget.• Manage project lifecycle from initiation to punch-list and final invoicing for project closeout, including:o Project planning, scope, budgets, scheduling, engineering design review, and approval.o Proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), bids, change orders, Request for Information (RFI) documentation.• Lead teams on conceptual designs of storage and processing facilities in the grain, river barge loading, and general agricultural industries. o Conduct requirements gathering with clients to document design criteria, budget, expectations.o Lead a team of CAD operators to generate ideas into a set of construction drawings. o Develop estimates based on historical cost analysis, subject matter expertise, and vendor Request for Proposal (RFP) to deliver a cost-effective solution to meet the client’s needs.• Develop and negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and vendors and mediate contractual disputes.o Track contractor performance and procurement of equipment, including billing against budget, change orders and contract deliverables.
