In my role as Senior Staff Accountant, I drive support with analysis, preparation and review of reports on investments, financial reporting and individual donor funds. Ensure integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering financial transactions to track activity in individual donor funds, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to ensure accurate and timely accounting of these functions. Also interact with management, auditors, donors and internal staff to ensure confidence in the accounting process as well as respond to inquiries.

Responsible for tax compliance and direct client contact that has resulted in strong client retention. Effectivley communicate between multiple supervisors and associates for increased efficiency on several concurring projects. Promoted due to proactive communication, increased technical knowledge, teamwork, and positive attitude.

Prepared and analyzed federal and state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals and private foundations which has helped drive business growth over the previous 3 years. Assisted in advising clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including compliance, planning, research and provision work that resulted in desired client expectations. Leader of 8 week summer internship program that resulted in majority of interns being offered a full time position.
