- Global Business Process Owner for forecasting and yield optimization on booking acceptance, vessel capacity management, container flow and product routing logic- Leading a team of 8 employees spread across Shanghai, Mumbai and Rotterdam- Successfully integrated acquired company Hamburg Sud into Maersk Line operations- Successfully integrated two functions in Maersk to improve yield optimization with limited vessel capacity- Interim Head of Operations Transformation from May 2018 to September 2018.

Shanghai

- Responsible for vessel capacity management across the Maersk fleet in Far East Asia. This includes execution of all containers loading and discharging at ports in all 30+ Far East ports - Successfully implemented the largest “Vessel Sharing Agreement” (VSA) within shipping when MSC became a long-term partner with Maersk- Responsible for VSA dealings as “Regional Coordination Committee” effectively resolving operational issues across Asia- Improved product routings for Asia exports saving USD 10+ million- Head of department with 34 employees and 5 sub-teams

Shanghai

- Supplier sourcing and procurement for Maersk Line in Far East Asia. Responsible for procurement of operational expenses of USD 1.3bn - Contract and rate negotiations with suppliers, particularly Ports, Terminals, Feeder Vessel Operators and Ship Agents- Building and maintaining relationships with incumbent and new suppliers- Led the South China Terminal Procurement project delivering large scale savings for Maersk through a re-assessment of Maersk’s strategic options in South China

Drive performance and process improvement for all offshored tasks- In conjunction with Procurement department, delivered USD 30m in savings through supplier workshops, e-auctions and direct negotiation- Leading team of 3 employees
